Commercial & Operations Consultant

PEAK Wind is looking for a Commercial & Operations Consultant to join a unique cross-functional role supporting asset management projects and clients worldwide. 

Introducing the Operations Delivery and Commercial & Contracts Teams 
You will take up a joint Operations Delivery and Commercial & Contracts role within PEAK Wind, working collaboratively with colleagues across both areas and the wider business supporting renewable energy projects around the world. The Operations Delivery team leads operational mobilisation, readiness, and improvement initiatives across PEAK Wind’s managed portfolio. The Commercial & Contracts team supports clients in achieving optimum commercial outcomes through the wind asset lifecycle, with particular focus on the negotiation and management of key O&M agreements (WTG and BoP service agreements in particular), O&M contract management, O&M commercial strategy and warranty and claims management. 

You will have a shared reporting line to the Head of Operations Delivery and the Director of Commercial & Contracts, while working closely with colleagues across PEAK Wind’s practice groups, regions, and client-facing teams. 

How You Will Make an Impact 
As a Commercial & Operations Consultant, you will support both operational and commercial initiatives across PEAK Wind's portfolio and client projects. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Support Asset and Operations Managers in achieving operational and business objectives across global projects. 
• Contribute to operational readiness and mobilisation activities for new renewable energy assets entering operation. 
• Assist in the delivery of operational improvement initiatives and performance optimisation projects. 
• Help develop and improve operational processes, systems, tools, and ways of working. 
• Support commercial and contractual activities related to O&M agreements and supplier relationships. 
• Assist with O&M procurement processes, including ITT preparation, supplier evaluation, commercial assessments, and contract reviews. 
• Contribute to warranty and claims management activities, including analysis, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. 
• Work closely with clients, OEMs, suppliers, and internal specialists to support project delivery. 
• Support business development initiatives and the development of new service offerings. 
• Travel as required to support projects, workshops, and client engagements.

• An educational background in Engineering, Business, Economics, Energy Management, or a related discipline. 
• Experience from renewable energy, infrastructure projects, consulting, operations, commercial management, procurement, or asset management. 
• An interest in both operational performance and commercial decision-making. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to work. 
• The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate across functions, cultures, and geographies. 
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working in an international environment. 
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and continuously develop new skills. 
• Experience with O&M contracts, procurement activities, contract management, or operational improvement initiatives is considered an advantage.
