We have developed a revolutionary market intelligence platform that provides key benchmarks for the design, installation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms. Our analyses are based on an innovative methodology of analysing vessel positions for market intelligence. We work with some of the world’s leading offshore wind developers, turbine OEMs and consultancies.
Help Us Create Unique Market Intelligence for Offshore Wind
Based in our Copenhagen office, you will lead the development of our data-driven solutions by analysing offshore wind activity and combining our unique offshore wind data with any publicly available data about the market development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Analysis: Analyze offshore wind activities using Python, Power BI, and QGIS, extracting geospatial and operational insights.
- Database Management & Integration: Maintain and optimize cloud-based PostgreSQL databases and develop efficient data pipelines for seamless integration with Power BI.
- Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning: Design and implement ML-driven solutions to enhance market intelligence insights and expand our product offering.
- Ad-hoc tasks: provide support for ad-hoc tasks such as developing custom reports.
- Be the driver of Sea Impact's IT development and have the opportunity to shape and form the development
As this is a role in a small company you will have plenty of room to influence your position and take on new and exciting tasks as we grow.
Solution-Driven Data Analyst with a Strong Drive
You have a master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar. You are proficient in Python and SQL, have some experience in developing ML-based solutions and have previously worked with some of these tools: QGIS, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, Power BI. Our ideal candidate is excited about being part of establishing a new organisation and creating industry-leading market intelligence for offshore wind. If you combine this with a proactive and entrepreneurial attitude and thrive in a fast-paced environment, you will enjoy “building something bigger together”.
Furthermore, you must have strong communication skills and function well in a collaborative environment. You are structured, proactive, and you are ready to learn and take on new challenges. As Sea Impact is a global company, you must have strong English communication skills.
